Violin Lessons

Here is Peg, Landon's violin teacher. Peg...so much can be said about her. We love Peg.

Here she is showing Landon that beautiful music is made with Perfect Playing Position.
This is what we strive for at home...a straight wrist with fingers on "tip toe", resting on their tapes while maintaining a mousehole.

A soft bow hold that does not tire the hand muscles or cause you to make scritchety, scratchety notes.

I took these photos so we can campare at home when having discussion about the way he wants to hold things and the way Peg wants him to hold things. Very effective I might add.
