Waiting for all the new kindergartners to welcome them to school was
Mr. Archer, the principal and Mrs. Smith, their teacher.
As a parent, it was GREAT to have them mingling on the playground, talking with parents, willing to pose with students and SMILING like they meant it!
Thank you Mr. Archer and Mrs. Smith!!
Landon stayed by me until it was time to line up...as hard as it was,
I had to push him away from me,
tell him it was ok,
he would have fun,
he was such a big boy,
he would be fine...
all the while reassuring myself.
and walked in the door for the first time...
and then, my tears began to flow...
